About Us at Horizon
Home is where the heart is. At Horizon Community Church, we’ve designed our ministries and services to make you feel at home in one of our four environments.
Whether you’re in a Living Room, Family Room, Kitchen, or Neighborhood environment, you’ll find a place where you can be part of our family and experience a healthy spiritual life.
In these environments you can relax, spend time with friends and family, get comfortable and be yourself.
living room
The living room is a warm, comfortable place where you welcome new friends and spend time with your family. In our living room environments we provide our guests opportunities to discover God's love and space for each of us to grow in our faith. Here, we experience life with the whole family and new life in Christ.
Examples of living room environments include:
- Sunday Services
- Student Ministry: iLife
- Children's Ministry: KidzTown Factory at 11am
Healthy Habit: Large group worship experience
family room
As you sip coffee and catch up with friends, everyone really begins to feel at home in your family room. The family room offers the opportunity to cultivate genuine friendships. Here, we hang out together, share life experiences and grow closer together. It is our desire to help you connect with God's family in smaller, comfortable environments, just like in your family room.
Examples of family room environments include:
- Journey to Freedom
- Student Ministry: iLife United
- House 2 House Groups
- Singles Ministry: The Bucke
Healthy Habit: Meaningful relationships in small group gatherings
the kitchen
In the kitchen, nourishing meals are prepared and mouth-watering aromas fill the house. It's about more than eating...it's about the exciting discovery of new flavors and the comfort of old favorites that bring joy, strength, and health to our lives. In the same way, our kitchen environments will help you discover the richness of a relationship with God through personal devotions.
Examples of kitchen environments include:
- Life Journaling
- Singles Ministry: Women's Discipleship
- Prayer Groups
Healthy Habit: Personal prayer and Bible reading
the neighborhood
Life continues beyond the walls of your house and into your neighborhood. You mow your neighbor's lawn, they sign for your packages, and you feed their when they're out of town. It's good to live in a community where we help each other. We want to get to know and serve our neighbors within our church, in our community and around the world.
Examples of neighborhood environments include:
- Royal Family Kid’s Camp
- Connection Team
- Bridgetown Ministry
- Children's Ministry: Factory Force
Healthy Habit: Serving and reaching out to others
